As completely self-funded programs, the TRU WolfPack Men’s and Women’sHockey teams rely on the support of our student/athletes, alumni, sponsors,donors, and community partners to operate and grow. This support is essential inproviding opportunities for our players and helping build a sustainable futurefor university hockey at TRU.
Our vision extends beyond the rink. The WolfPack Hockey Programs striveto create an environment where student-athletes can pursue excellenceacademically, athletically, and personally. The Men’s program continues to build on its foundation as a competitiveuniversity hockey team, while the launch and growth of the Women’s programrepresents an important opportunity to expand high-level hockey opportunitiesfor female student-athletes in our region. Together, the two programs arecreating a unified hockey community and a pathway for talented players tocontinue competing while earning a university education.

The TRU WolfPack Men’s Hockey team is ready to open the regular season on home ice! The WolfPack will welcome the Okanagan Lakers on Friday, October 9th, at 7:00 PM for the team’s regular season home opener. After finishing the preseason with a 2–2 record, including a split against the Lakers, the WolfPack will look to carry that momentum into the regular season. Fans are invited to Logan Lake Rec Centre to help kick off the 2026/27 season and support the WolfPack as they begin their regular-season campaign.
Join the TRU WolfPack Hockey teams for a night out at Sharks Club in Kamloops while helping support our men’s and women’s hockey programs! Club Night is an important fundraiser for the WolfPack, with all proceeds going toward supporting our athletes and the continued growth of our university hockey programs.

A major milestone has been reached for TRU WolfPack Women’s Hockey, with the team’s membership with BC Hockey officially accepted. This marks an exciting step forward as we continue building a new university women’s hockey program and creating more opportunities for female student-athletes to compete at a high level while pursuing their education at Thompson Rivers University.
The acceptance of our BC Hockey membership is another important piece in establishing the WolfPack Women’s program and growing the future of women’s university hockey in the Thompson-Okanagan. We are excited to continue building the program, recruiting student-athletes, and working toward the team’s first season on the ice.
